Overview:

We are seeking a talented Account Manager to take ownership of a technical contracts with several government agencies. The Account Manager will work closely with customer POCs and internal ARMA teams to encourage the continued use of the contract and ARMA's services. The Account Manager will work out of ARMA's Silver Spring office. 

Responsibilities

  • Serve on ARMA's representative and customer liaison team for government deployments.
  • Build strong relationships and sustain trust with customer POCs through expert program management and dependability
  • Understand the customer's use of services in context of their operational requirements to effectively train, share best practices, and maximize value.
  • Interface effectively with internal managerial teams to anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve service issues as well as share client feedback and requirements
  • Regularly communicate program status, challenges, and risks to customer and company leadership
  • Work in close coordination with operational teams, contracts office, and ARMA teams to ensure that the contract is fully and effectively administered
  • Manage and track the documentation and status of numerous government contracts and task orders
  • Develop a relationship and regularly check in with government clients for status on outstanding or pending projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in government contracts or managing numerous contracts
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in IT related program management or project management
  • Familiarity with U.S. government contracting community and culture
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholder groups having different priorities and communications styles
  • Experience and skill briefing project status to stakeholders
