AGi is in need of a Communications and Emergency Security (COMSEC) Specialist with a Top Secret Clearance to assist our client with the planning, directing, and coordinating all activities relating to the Security and Emergency Management Services in cooperation with and the support of client staff and external Governmental agencies across the entire enterprise. Additionally, this role will support bolster and sustain the client's emergency management program and develop risk assessment and risk management.

 The COMSEC Specialist shall provide full time, on-site support to enhance and sustain their security and emergency programs.


  • Review/revise/update the Occupant Emergency Plans (OEP) for the office building ensuring compliance with the General Service Administrations (GSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Emergency Action Plan (EAP) requirements.
  • Design and develop an OEP Guidance Flipbook with directions for occupants to follow during emergencies, regardless of locations, for publication by the Agency.
  • Develop team quick reference products such as, timelines / orders of operations, flowcharts, job aids, and reference guides; update emergency management materials such as webpages, instructional materials, and publications.
  • Complete or assist with preparedness actions covered under the FEMA preparedness cycle that may include assessments, plans, training, or evaluation.  These may deal with preparedness, response, recovery or mitigation objectives.
  • Perform training, mentoring, and instruction in Emergency Management activities, policies, and programs.
  • Design/develop documentation packet for the Agency in preparation for mandatory annual Continuity of Operations Program (COOP) exercises in order to comply with FEMA and DHS requirements.
  • Attend local FEMA exercise workshops, meetings and COOP Working Group sessions and provide notes/slides to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) within 48 hours.


  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as primary COMSEC officer or account manager for NSF.
  • Previous experience performing security and emergency equipment testing and maintenance.
  • Excellent organizational/communications skills and the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
  • Able to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. Previous experience managing programs with federal government communities.
  • Able to understand and interpret GSA, DHS and company security policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
